Info Prilosec

It is really amazing news that The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved Prilosec, the first over-the-counter treatment for frequent heartburn. Prilosec is a delayed-release 20 mg tablet that must be taken before eating once a day, every day for 14 days. PRILOSEC is supplied as delayed-release capsules for oral administration. Each delayed-release capsule contains either 10 mg, 20 mg or 40 mg of omeprazole in the form of enteric-coated granules with the following inactive ingredients: cellulose, disodium hydrogen phosphate, hydroxypropyl cellulose, hypromellose, lactose, mannitol, sodium lauryl sulfate and other ingredients. Prilosec may take one to four days for full effect, although some consumers may get complete relief of symptoms within 24 hours.
Heartburn is often confused with the first symptoms of a heart attack. Seek emergency medical attention if you have chest pain or heavy feeling, dizziness, pain spreading to the arm or shoulder, sweating, nausea or vomiting, and a general ill feeling. Prilosec is not for immediate relief of heartburn symptoms. Some conditions are treated with a combination of Prilosec and antibiotics. To best treat your condition, use all of your medications as directed by your doctor. You will get to know about Prilosec from us and if you still need anymore Info Prilosec, do contact us.
